Joseph Pilates is a pioneer in the physical and psychic fitness. His 34 exercises are the foundation on which the complexes are built in this book. I have used most of its classic exercises to arrange the complexes in a safe and intelligent series in which exercises smoothly overflow one another. You will increase the benefits of most exercises simply by stretching the muscle groups that can limit the performance of an exercise. At the same time, you are not only improving your physical form, but you also increase your mental power and endurance. Feel free to perform stretches longer than indicated as well as add them to the complex. This book is the result of my experience of not a decade as a physical exercise instructor. When you absorb the exercises in the order in which I give them, you can form your own complex by mixing and changing the place of exercises.
