Adults Prevention of cardiac attacks: The recommended dose is 75-160 mg once a day. Prevention of stroke: The recommended dose is 75-325 mg once a day. Prevention of cardiovascular problems in patients who suffer from stable or unstable angina (type of chest pain): The recommended dose is 75-160 mg once a day. Prevention of the formation of blood clots after some types of heart operations: The recommended dose is 75-160 mg once a day. This medicine should not be used at higher doses unless recommended by a doctor and then the dose should exceed 325 mg daily. Elderly Dose as in adults. In general, acetylsalicylic acid should be used with increased important information: in elderly patients who are more prone to adverse events. Treatment should be reviewed at regular intervals. Use in children and adolescents Acetylsalicylic acid should not be used in children and adolescents under the age of 16, unless prescribed by a doctor (see "Warnings and Precautions"). Application method Oral application. The tablets should be swallowed whole with enough liquid (1/2 cup of water). The tablets have a gastro-resistant coating that does not allow irritant effect on the intestine and therefore should not be crushed, break or chew. If you have taken more than the required dose of Ask Krka If you (or anyone else) accidentally accept too many tablets, you should notify your doctor immediately or you should immediately go to the nearest emergency compartment. Show the medicine or empty packaging to the doctor. Symptoms of overdose may include ear noise, hearing problems, headache, dizziness, confusion, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. Significant overdose can lead to more rapid breathing from normal (hyperventilation), temperature rise, excessive sweating, anxiety, seizures, hallucinations, low blood sugar, coma and shock. If you missed to accept ASK KRKE If you miss a dose, wait until it gets the next dose, then proceed as usual. Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed tablet.
