The filter must be placed tightly and evenly in the funnel so that unfiltered water does not enter the bottom of the jug. We test the reliability of the filters with water containing 100 times the concentration of harmful substances. This means that it can protect you even in extreme situations: if the water is heavily contaminated (e.g. after an accident), the filter that has "taken the brunt" must be replaced immediately. If the filter stops passing water, there may be air bubbles in it. This can be easily remedied by soaking it in water in a horizontal position and shaking it so that the air can escape. There are always fine air bubbles in the water, which can increase as the water flows through the filter. This is normal, especially during the cold season when the temperature in the rooms is much higher than the temperature of the water in the water supply.
