Disinfect the wound and the skin around it. Dry thoroughly. Applying the Urgo Optiskin plaster: Grasp the protective paper backing between your thumb and forefinger and gently pull it out to remove it. Before completely removing the protective paper backing, place the plaster directly on the wound to protect it or on the medical device to secure it. Remove the paper backing completely and gently smooth the surface of the plaster with your palm to make it stick better. Remove the transparent protective film, starting from the middle and working towards the edges. Smooth the plaster again, working from the middle towards the edges.
