Usage
Blood pressure measurement 1. Switching on Press the "START/STOP" button. The LCD display will light up for one second as the device performs a quick diagnostic check. Note: The device will not work if there is residual air from a previous measurement in the cuff. A downward arrow symbol will flash on the screen while the device automatically normalizes the pressure. 2. Inflating the cuff with compressed air First, inflate to 190 mmHg. If your current systolic blood pressure is above 190 mmHg, the device will automatically inflate further to the required value. Note: Inflation will gradually slow down and eventually stop if the cuff is not properly positioned on the arm. In this case, press the "START/STOP" button to turn off the device. 3. Measurement After inflating the cuff, the air will slowly deflate until it reaches the required pressure. At the same time, a heart symbol will appear on the display, indicating that a heartbeat has been detected. Note: Remain relaxed during the measurement. Do not talk or move your body. 4. Displaying the result on the display When the measurement is complete, the systolic and diastolic blood pressure measurements are shown on the display. An indicator showing the current measurement will appear next to the corresponding WHO classification. Arrhythmia indicator If the device detects an irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) two or three times during a measurement, the irregular heartbeat symbol will appear on the screen along with the measurement results. Arrhythmia is a heart rhythm that is 25% slower or faster than the average rhythm detected during the measurement of systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Consult your doctor if the irregular heartbeat symbol appears frequently with the measurement results. 5. Deleting/saving measurement results You can delete your current measurement result in case of unfavorable measurement conditions or for any other reason. To delete the last result, press the "SET" button after the result is displayed. If the result is not deleted, the device will automatically save it with the date in the preconfigured User memory. Note: Make sure that the appropriate User is selected from the memory before measurement. Turning off You can turn off the device at any time using the "START/STOP" button. The device turns off automatically if it is not used for more than 3 minutes. Important information: If the pressure in the cuff placed on the arm becomes too high, press the "START/STOP" button to turn off the device. The pressure in the cuff will drop quickly after the device is turned off.
