Active ingredient is ciclopirox. One gram of medicated nail polish contains 80 mg of ciclopirox, Other ingredients are: ethyl acetate, Ethanol (96%), Cetostearyl alcohol, Hydroxypropyl chitosan, Purified water

- Always follow the instructions in the Set leaflet. If you are unsure about anything, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Apply a thin layer to the infected nail(s). Nails should be clean and dry. The medicated nail polish should be applied to the entire surface of the nail and 5 mm of the surrounding skin. Also apply under the free edge of the nail. Allow to dry for about 30 seconds. The nail(s) should not be washed for at least 6 hours, so it is recommended to apply Polynail in the evening before bedtime. After this time, normal hygiene procedures are allowed. - No solution or abrasive (e.g., nail file) is needed to remove Polineil medicated nail polish. Simply wash your nails with water. If Polineil is accidentally washed off, it can be reapplied. It is recommended to regularly remove the damaged part of the infected nail by cutting it with scissors or a one-way nail file. Treatment should continue until the problem is resolved, which means until the nail(s) are clear and healthy nail(s) grow back. Complete healing of fingernails is usually achieved in about 6 months, and toenails in about 9 to 12 months. - If one fingernail or toenail is severely affected, or if several nails are affected, additional oral treatment may be considered. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
