HerpexCreamAciclovir50 mg/g is a non-prescription medicinal product in the form of a cream for topical application in cases of herpes.
The active ingredient in Fortex Herpex Cream is acyclovir, which belongs to a group of medicines known as antivirals.
It is recommended for the treatment of labial herpes lesions (in the area around the mouth) resulting from infection with Herpes simplex virus type 1.

Active substance: acyclovir. 1 g of cream contains 50 mg of acyclovir (5% acyclovir, W, W). Excipients: cetostearyl alcohol, Liquid paraffin, Propylene glycol (E 1520), Poloxamer 407, White soft paraffin, Purified water

Method of use for adults and children over 12 years of age: Wash your hands before and after applying the cream. Apply a sufficient amount of cream with your finger to completely cover the infected area (including the outer edges of the herpes blisters, if present). Apply the cream 5 times a day every four hours (approximately every 3-4 hours while you are awake). Apply for 4 days. If the herpes is not affected, you can continue treatment for up to 10 days. Consult your doctor if you still have symptoms after 10 days. Do not exceed the recommended dose! Do not mix Herpex cream with other skin creams or lotions.
