Description
Diclofenac VP1% gel is a non-prescription medicinal product, with each 1 gram of gel containing 10 mg of the active substance diclofenac sodium and excipients.

Ingredients
In 1 g of gel: Diclofenac sodium 10 mg Excipients Carbomer, Ethanol 96%, Isopropyl alcohol, Trolamine, Methyl parahydroxybenzoate, Purified water
Usage
Diclofenac 1% gel is applied to the skin. For adults and children over 12 years of age, apply 3-4 times daily by gently rubbing into the affected area. Usually 2-4 g of gel (approximately 2.0-2.5 cm in diameter) is sufficient. The duration of application should not exceed 14 days. The use of the product is not recommended in children under 12 years of age due to limited experience in this age group. Elderly patients - use the usual dosage.
Important
Contraindications Do not use Diclofenac VP 1% gel: - if you are hypersensitive to the active substance, acetylsalicylic acid, other NSAIDs, or any of the excipients; - on open wounds, inflammations, or infections of the skin or mucous membranes; - in children under 12 years of age; Prolonged use may lead to hypersensitivity; Do not apply to open wounds or weeping eczema; Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes; Do not expose the treated area to direct sunlight; Do not use under occlusive dressings; Shelf life Do not use after the expiry date; Shelf life after opening the primary packaging: 1 month; Patients with allergic predisposition In patients with: - asthma; - hay fever; - nasal polyps; - chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; - chronic respiratory tract infections (especially with symptoms similar to hay fever); - hypersensitivity to NSAIDs; ...there is an increased risk of: - asthma attacks ("analgesic asthma"); - local edema (Quincke's edema); - urticaria; Drug interactions Consult a doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines, including non-prescription medicines; No clinically significant interactions are known with topical application of diclofenac, but: - the simultaneous use of more than one NSAID (including COX-2 inhibitors) should be avoided; - simultaneous use with acetylsalicylic acid or corticosteroids increases the risk of gastrointestinal complications (although unlikely with topical application); - NSAIDs may interact with blood pressure-lowering drugs, weakening their effect (the likelihood of this occurring with topical application is low); Pregnancy and breastfeeding Pregnancy: Use is not recommended unless the benefit outweighs the risk to the fetus; only under medical supervision; Breastfeeding: There is no data on the excretion of diclofenac in breast milk, but use is not recommended; If necessary, do not apply to the breasts, large areas, or for prolonged periods; Driving and operating machinery Diclofenac VP 1% gel does not affect the ability to drive or operate machinery; Storage Store below 77°F (25°C) in a dry place protected from light; Keep out of reach of children;
