Milupa Aptamil Premature with Pronutra Milk for premature or low birth weight babies x 400g. - Always wash your hands and clean everything you need to prepare the food. - Sterilize bottles and nipples for 10 minutes. - Boil clean drinking water for 10 minutes and let it cool. Pour the recommended amount of hot water into the feeding bottle. - Add the specified amount of Milupa Aptamil Premature to the bottle. Use only the measuring spoon provided in the Set. Level it off with the back of a dry, clean knife without pressing down. - Close the bottle and shake vigorously. Before feeding, check the temperature of the milk on your wrist. Feed your baby no later than 1 hour after preparation. Clean everything immediately after feeding. Do not reuse leftovers. Store the box in a cool, dry place, but not in the refrigerator. Use within three weeks after opening the box. After an initial period of 1-2 weeks of gradually increasing amounts of APTAMIL Premature, it is recommended to reach an intake of 150 ml (= 3.7 g protein and 120 kcal) APTAMIL Premature/kg body weight per day, as quickly as possible. The most rational way to feed children weighing less than 1500-2000 g is by drip feeding through a nasogastric tube to prevent aspiration. Once the child reaches a body weight of approximately 3000 g or an adjusted age of approximately 2 months (from the date of birth), APTAMIL Premature is replaced with APTAMIL 1.
