Description
Dentaid Perio-Aid Active Control Mouthwash is a mouthwash suitable for continuous use for up to 6 months, which effectively removes plaque residues throughout the oral cavity, leaving it protected and with fresh breath.
The mouthwash is suitable for use before or after dental procedures, in cases of excessive plaque (biofilm) build-up, or when brushing and standard oral hygiene products are not applicable.
The product formula contains 0.05% chlorhexidine digluconate and 0.05% cetylpyridinium chloride, which care for the health of teeth and gums.
- Side effects: In some cases, a change in taste occur
- In very rare cases, a burning sensation on the tongue occur
- These effects diminish with prolonged use of the product
- This product contains chlorhexidine, which cause temporary discoloration of the teeth
- Due to the low concentration of chlorhexidine, this staining occurs in rare cases and only after prolonged use when in contact with certain substances, foods, and beverages such as wine, coffee, and tobacco
The staining effect is not permanent and can be avoided with proper oral hygiene.
Brush hair teeth thoroughly and clean between hair teeth with appropriate tools (interdental brushes) before rinsing with mouthwash.

Usage
Perio-Aid Active Control Mouthwash for prolonged use up to 6 months 500 ml. Rinse twice daily with 15 ml for 30 seconds after brushing your teeth with toothpaste and a toothbrush. Do not rinse with water or eat for 30 minutes after use. Most toothpastes contain anionic compounds that reduce the effectiveness of chlorhexidine. After using such products, rinse your mouth 3 times with plenty of water before using Perio·Aid Active Control mouthwash. Dental gel does not contain such anionic compounds and is perfectly compatible with mouthwash.
