Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Breastfeeding Set. - If you lose the vacuum or milk flows back into the funnel, check all possible causes in the instructions. - The pump has a hard valve and a silicone membrane, which should point away from the breast during pumping. - The small opening at the top of the pump body should be free and uncovered. - The pump should be held upright and not at an angle. - The pumping speed may be too fast for your milk flow; you may need to slow down. - Check that the membrane is not missing or stuck to the hard valve. - The Closer to Nature pump has a closed system, which means that no air can enter the bottle or container during pumping. - The pump can be sterilized in the Closer to Nature Microwave Sterilizer (except for the vacuum tube of the electric pump).
