Convatec Granuflex Hydrocolloid Dressing is a single-use hydrocolloid dressing that is gamma-ray sterilized.
It consists of an inner layer of hydrocolloids in an adhesive polymer matrix and an outer polyurethane layer.The dressing is intended for use on chronic wounds such as decubitus ulcers (grades 1 to 4) and ulcus cruris.
It can also be used on acute wounds such as surgical wounds, traumatic wounds, first- and second-degree burns, and dermatological excisions.

Convatec Granuflex Sterile Hydrocolloid Dressing 20 x 20 cm. Directions for use: 1. Remove the protective silicone paper from the dressing, taking care not to touch the adhesive surface. 2. Gently spread the dressing over the wound, without stretching it. 3. Shape the bandage with your hand so that it adheres securely to the skin around the wound. The maximum recommended wearing time for the dressing is 7 days! Choose a dressing size that exceeds the size of the wound by about 2 cm. The dressing absorbs wound exudate and the gel that forms swells the outer surface of the dressing!
