Description
Hartmann Sorbalgon Bandage is a soft calcium alginate dressing, free of pharmaceutical active substances, specially developed for the treatment of fresh and chronic, deep and superficial wounds with moderate to heavy secretion, particularly suitable for the treatment of bleeding and cavity wounds.
It is indicated for infected and difficult-to-treat wounds in emergency surgery, tumors, abscesses, etc.
For deep wounds and fistula channels, Sorbalgon T in the form of narrow strips is recommended.
- Upon contact with wound exudate, Sorbalgon transforms into a gel, whereby calcium ions from the dressing are exchanged sodium ions from the exudate
- Sorbalgon has extremely high absorption and is suitable wounds with moderate to heavy exudation
- It is actively breathable, has a cleansing effect, and reliably traps bacteria in its gel-like structure

Ingredients
Depending on the amount of secretion, Sorbalgon can be left on the wound for a longer period of time (up to several days), Dressing should be changed when the compress has completely turned into gel. Any fibers remaining in the wound can be removed with saline solution or Ringer's solution, Or they will be broken down by the body on their own through biological processes
Usage
For general wound treatment, for use as tampons or dressings, in surgery or in outpatient practice.
Important
The plaster is for external use only and should be used on dry and clean skin;
Do not apply to an area where a plaster has already been used more than once within 24 hours;
Do not wet with water;
Do not cut or tear the plaster;
