Description
Mip Farma Lactulose-MIP 65 g/100 ml Syrup is an over-the-counter medicine in the form of a cherry-Flavor syrup, which is used for constipation that is not affected by diet or other recommended hygiene and dietary measures and for regulating the physiological rhythm of the large intestine.
The active ingredient in the product is lactulose.
It is a disaccharide that is not broken down by enzymes in the small intestine and reaches the large intestine undigested.
- Intestinal bacteria convert lactulose into low-molecular-weight organic acids, which acidify the environment and increase the volume of intestinal contents
