Description
Bioprogramme Bloodroot Roots is a natural herbal product from the plant Rhizoma et Radix Geranii sanguinei (Geraniaceae).
Its most important ingredient is essential oil, which contains sesquiterpene hydrocarbons, ketones, and alcohols.
It also contains tannins, phlobaphen complex, ellagic acid, mucilage, resins, and starch.

Usage
Application: Internal: for anemia, hypotension, sedative for diarrhea (especially in young children), dysentery, cholera, gastrointestinal catarrh, inflammation of the colon, bleeding, and heavy menstruation. External use: for skin inflammation, boils, wounds, hemorrhoids, vaginal discharge, mouth inflammation, and throat gargle. Preparation: Soak 2 teaspoons of finely chopped roots in 1/2000 Mliter of cold water for 8 hours and strain through cheesecloth. The residue from straining is used for compresses and tampons. Method of use: Apply only as a cold extract obtained from the roots, 3 times a day, 150 ml before meals.
