Tubulkus Compression Therapy for Varicose Veins Size L 1 Pair of Socks
Description
Tubulcus is a non-heeled, open-toe tubular compression stocking made of knitted bi-sens elastic fabric, designed for the treatment of venous wounds on the legs.
The product exerts constant and prolonged pressure, which is effective and non-aggressive, necessary for the treatment of venous wounds/ulcers.
It effectively counteracts venous blood stasis, which is the cause of wound formation.
- Treatment with elastic venous compression is a recommended medical measure to prevent chronic venous stasis leading to the formation of leg ulcers
- Tubulcus® has proven efficacy in the treatment of venous ulcers on the legs
- The threads used and the method of knitting allow Tubulcus® to return (push back) venous blood from the bottom up (towards the heart) by exerting degressive pressure from the line of the colored stripe, where the pressure is most pronounced (the wound area), upwards towards the calf
- Venous compression applied to the leg only be effective healing ulcers if used daily
- A long time, venous ulcers have been treated by applying compression bandages
The effectiveness of bandages is recognized, but wearing them is accompanied by many inconveniences and discomfort.

Usage
Tubulcus Compression therapy for varicose veins, size L 1 pair of socks Tubulcus® is applied during a consultation and after wound care by a doctor or nurse. Application is facilitated by using the foot insertion device. Tubulcus® is placed over the wound dressing. It is necessary to take measurements in advance in order to select the most appropriate Tubulcus® size for the patient. Application, which always takes place in a supine position, is very simple and painless thanks to the use of the flexible foot insertion system. The position of the colored end is to indicate and focus the pressure, which is important for the effectiveness of Tubulcus®: it should always be at or slightly below the lowest part of the wound. Tubulcus® is adjustable in length: the two knitted ends that are not used can be cut with scissors so that they fit exactly on the foot and, if necessary, on the appropriate place on the leg. When replacing Tubulcus®, do not pull on the lower end (from the foot) to prevent rough removal of the wound dressing underneath. Removal should start from the top as shown in photo 2. Tubulcus® is replaced depending on the frequency of local care and wound dressing. Tubulcus® is designed to be worn continuously for 7 days, day and night. Tubulcus® should be replaced on average every 7 days, at which point the wound dressing should also be changed (except in cases where more frequent dressing changes are necessary). Tubulcus® can be used multiple times after washing (it has been tested for 20 washes).
