Ingredients
Convenient, A large scale for easy reading of values, Precise and stylish pressure gauge, Convenient attached stethoscope, Fine dust filter
Usage
Putting on the cuff and taking the measurement: 1. Connect the air tubes to the pressure gauge and the stethoscope head. 2. Place the cuff on the left arm so that the air tube runs through the middle of the inner side of the arm (above the brachial artery). 3. Wrap the cuff around the arm so that it is neither too tight nor too loose, and its lower edge (where the stethoscope head is attached) is 1-2 cm above the elbow joint on the inner side. 4. Carefully place the earpcs of the stethoscope in your ears. 5. Tighten the pump valve clockwise and create pressure in the cuff until the scale shows 180-200 mm. If you hear a pulse in the earpcs, pump until no sounds are heard. 6. Slowly turn the pump valve counterclockwise so that the pressure gauge reading decreases by 2-3 divisions per second. 7. Using the stethoscope, listen for the pulse in the brachial artery. When the pressure in the cuff equals the systolic pressure, you will hear a clear sound from the heartbeat. When the sound subsides (disappears), the pressure matches the diastolic pressure. The sound you hear changes in intensity and goes through 5 phases. - initial beats (systolic pressure) - initial beats (systolic pressure) - the sound intensity increases - the sound reaches its maximum intensity - sound reaches maximum intensity - the sound weakens - the sound weakens - - it stops being heard (diastolic pressure) 8. 8. Release the air and unroll the cuff.
