Clear Marijuana (THC) Test Cassette
Description
Clear Test Marijuana Surestep Drug Screen is a test for the qualitative determination of cannabinoids (THC) in human urine up to 10 days after use.
The tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) test is a one-step immunochromatographic in vitro test.
It is intended for the qualitative determination of THC and its metabolites in human urine samples.
- The presence of 11-nor-?9-THC-9-COOH in human urine above the cut-off level of 50 ng/ml be determined
- This test has not been evaluated point-of-care use and is intended use by healthcare professionals only
- This quantitative analysis only preliminary analytical test results
- A more specific alternative chemical method must be used to obtain a confirmed analytical result
- Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) has been established as the preferred method of confirmation by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
Clinical review and professional judgment should be applied to any drug abuse test result, especially when preliminary results are positive.
The IIDTHC test is based on the principle of specific immunochemical reaction between antibodies and antigens to detect specific compounds in a human urine sample.
Recommended for: General use
Key benefits: Manageability

Ingredients
1. Marijuana testing kit. Materials required but not provided: 1. Container for collecting samples. 2. Timer or clock
Usage
Clear Marijuana (THC) Test Cassette. Sample collection and preparation: Approximately 150 µl of sample is required for each test. Fresh urine samples do not require any special handling or processing. The sample should be collected in a clean, dry, plastic or glass container. If the quantitative test is not performed immediately, the urine sample can be refrigerated at 2-8°C and stored for up to 7 days or frozen. Before testing, samples should be brought to room temperature. Urine samples that show significant sediment or cloudiness should be centrifuged or allowed to settle so that a clear liquid is obtained for the test. Avoid skin contact by wearing gloves and appropriate laboratory clothing. Quality control: Good laboratory practice recommends daily use of laboratory materials to confirm the reliability of the Kit. Procedure: For Test Card 1. Allow all materials and samples to reach room temperature. 2. Remove the test card from the sealed foil. 3. Place the pipette in the specimen and squeeze it to obtain a sample. 4. Hold the pipette vertically above the sample on the test card and place 2-3 drops of the specimen (100-150 ml). 5. Read the result between 3 and 8 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes! Reading the result: Negative: Two colored lines appear. The appearance of two colored lines, one in the test zone and one in the control zone, indicates a negative result. A negative result indicates that the THC concentration in the sample is either zero or below the threshold level. Positive: One colored line appears. One colored line appears in the control zone. There is no colored line in the test zone. This indicates that the THC level in the sample is above the threshold level. Invalid: If there is no colored line in the control zone, the result is invalid. Retest the sample with a new test kit. Note: A borderline (+/-) in the test zone is considered a negative result. Procedural limitations: This quantitative test is suitable for use with human urine only. A positive result on any of the tests indicates only the presence of a drug/metabolite and does not indicate or measure intoxication. Technical or procedural errors, as well as other substances contained in certain foods and medications, may affect the test and lead to false results. Please refer to the "SPECIFICITY" section for a list of substances that either lead to positive results or do not affect the test. If a narcotic substance/metabolite is detected in the urine sample, the quantitative test does not indicate the frequency of drug use and does not distinguish between drug abuse and certain foods and medications.
Important
For in vitro and forensic use only; Do not use the product after the expiration date; Handle samples with care as they may be infectious; The product is sensitive to moisture, do not open the sealed foil until you are ready to perform the test; Use a new container for each urine sample to avoid contamination of one sample by another; The test kit must be stored at a temperature between 2 and 86°F (30°C); The product is sensitive to moisture and should be used immediately after opening; Do not use if the packaging is damaged;
