Clear Doa Combo-6 Combined Drug and Opiate Test 6 Parameters Strips
Description
Clear DOA Combo-6 Test Surestep Drug Screen Strips is a test designed to determine the amounts of opiate and narcotic substances in human urine specimens.
The test is designed for simultaneous testing for amphetamine, methadone, cocaine, methamphetamine, opiates (heroin, morphine, codeine), and marijuana.
Each strip works on the basis of a specific immunochemical reaction between antibodies and antigens to analyze a particular specific component of the human urine sample.
- The strip detects competition antibody binding
- When a drug is present in the urine sample, it competes with the drug compounds the limited amount of antibody-colored compound
- When the amount of drug is equal to or greater than the acceptable limit, it prevent the opiate compound from binding to the antibodies
- Therefore, a positive urine specimen not show a colored band in the test zone, indicating a positive result, while the presence of a colored band indicates or means a negative result
- The control line is present in the test window to serve as a control the procedure
This colored band should always appear in the control line area if the test device is stored in good condition and the test is performed correctly.

Ingredients
A box with 6 separate test strips (1 for each type of drug). Required materials not provided: Urine collection container Timer or clock
Usage
Clear DOA Combo-6 Combined drug and opiate test, 6 parameters, strips. Specimen collection and preparation: Fresh urine does not require any special handling or pre-treatment. If quantitative analysis is not performed immediately, urine specimens may be frozen or refrigerated at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius for up to 7 days. Before testing, samples should be allowed to reach room temperature. Urine specimens that show increased sediment or cloudiness should be centrifuged or allowed to settle before testing. Quality control: The control strip is an internal reagent and procedure control. It will appear if the test is performed correctly and the reagents are activated. Control standards can be used to validate the performance of the reagents and establish the reliability of the test. Procedure: 1. Warm all materials and specimens to room temperature. 2. Remove the test strips (6 pcs) from the sealed foil pouch. 3. Dip the strips one by one into the urine sample with the arrow pointing towards the sample. The sample level should not be higher than the maximum line indicated by the arrow. 4. Hold each strip in the urine until a reddish color appears in the test zone (approximately 20 seconds). 5. Remove the strip and place it on a clean, non-absorbent surface or leave it in the urine if the urine level is not higher than the maximum line indicated by the arrow. 6. Read the results between 3 and 8 minutes. Never interpret a result after 10 minutes! Interpreting the results: Negative: Two colored bands appear. The appearance of two colored bands, one in the test zone and one in the control zone, indicates a negative result. A negative result does not indicate the absence of opiates in the specimen. It only indicates that the level of the drug in the specimen is less than the acceptable level. Positive: One colored band appears in the control line zone. No colored band is detected in the test line zone. This indicates that the drug level in the urine specimen is above the acceptable limit. Invalid: If there is no colored band in the control line area, the test result is invalid. Retest the sample with a new test device. Note: A very faint colored band in the test line area indicates that the amount of amphetamine in the sample is close to the acceptable limit. These specimens and other positive samples should be confirmed using an alternative method such as GC/MS.
Important
Use only for in vitro diagnostic or forensic testing. Do not use the product after the expiration date. Treat all specimens as if they are potentially infectious. Do not open the metal foil box until you are ready to perform the test. Use a new urine specimen cup for each sample to prevent cross-contamination. The test must be stored at a temperature between 2 and 86°F (30°C) and will be effective until the expiration date indicated.
