Usage
Place 1 tablespoon of crushed Senna leaves in 200 ml of boiling water. Boil for 5 minutes. Strain through cheesecloth. The Senna decoction has a shelf life of 12 hours, provided it is stored in a refrigerator at a temperature of 2-8°C without freezing. The senna decoction should be drunk all at once, preferably in the evening before bedtime. Do not use senna for abdominal pain of origin, intestinal obstruction, narrowing of the digestive tract, inflammation of the colon, appendicitis, dehydration, or in children.
